I am interested in helping ACT in the following areas:
Usher: Welcome audiences and take them to their seats.
Concessions: Assist at intermission with the serving of drinks and snacks.
Concessions: Coordinate purchasing and delivering concessions to the theater.
Directing, producing, lights and sound.
Sets: Help design, construct and paint the sets.
Stage Assistance: Help acquire props, assist actors during the performances and help with set changes during the shows.
Costumes: Design, make or find costumes.
Hair and Make-up: Provide assistance to actors during the run of the show.
Mailings: Assist with preparing mailings (folding, stuffing, stamping newsletters and postcards).
Special Events: Help organize snacks and drinks for the AfterGlow parties, the annual board meeting, SummerFest and other theater events.
I would like to help serve on the following committees:
Marketing: Place advertising and secure media coverage for shows.
Production: Help the director pull together all the resources needed for the production.
Membership: maintain membership database and host the AfterGlow parties.
Fundraising: Solicit sponsorships from businesses, apply for grants, do special events.
Building: Clean and prepare the theater before each show.
Volunteers: Maintain the volunteer database and match skills with needs.
Children’s Theater: Help with after-school, Saturday and summer programs. (Screening application and reference checks required).
Play Selection: Help develop a season of shows for board approval.
