Mission
Ankeny Community Theatre’s mission is to provide quality live theater entertainment and participation opportunities for Central Iowa community members. |
Vision
Ankeny Community Theatre is a vital part of the cultural landscape that enhances the quality of life in our community, and is a welcoming place where people of diverse backgrounds have fulfilling theatrical experiences. Ankeny Community Theatre was originally founded in 1981 by a group of civic-minded individuals who sought a more robust cultural environment within their community. The organization adopted its bylaws and articles of incorporation in 1985. ACT continues to create valuable cultural opportunities and community involvement for theater goers, theater members, theatrical talent, and resident families in Ankeny and the larger surrounding community.
ACT is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. |
